The Red Queen Simulator
is distributed in three versions. All require that a Java runtime environment
(1.4.2 or later) is already installed on your computer.
Mac
OS X
A disk
image; download the file "RQ Simulator Download.dmg" and double-click
to mount the image; then drag the application icon to your hard disk.
OS X (tested 10.3.4 to 10.4.9). OS X has Java installed by default.
Windows
Treat as an ordinary .exe file — on first attempt
to execute, the application will determine whether you have an appropriate
Java runtime installed, and, if not, will guide you through the steps
to install one. Microsoft Windows 98/Me/2000/XP — tested on XP,
expected to work on Vista.
Jar
file
(RQSimulator.jar). Works on all platforms, including Linux/Unix.
