The Pantherion Corporation

    The Pantherion Corporation was founded in 2000 by John Damuth, who is currently the President and CEO. It is located in Santa Barbara, California.

What we do

    The Pantherion Corporation designs and develops custom software, primarily for applications in the natural sciences. We are dedicated to providing solutions that make use of the latest mature technologies, so that researchers can take full advantage of the existing potential of modern desktop computers and the Internet for communication, collaboration, data sharing, and analysis. Our focus is on providing computing capabilities and services that are beyond what most researchers can (or want) to develop on their own, but that are at the same time not easily or effectively accomplished using mass-market commercial software.

    Some of our work is contracted through grants obtained by academic researchers. Other software applications are designed and developed in-house, with a view toward marketing to the research community.
